There are also some fantastic live science demonstrations. For young ones, look out for the special Little Explorers days.
Once a hotel, also a military base and then a Prisoner Of War Camp, Duff House has an amazing history. Today it is a treasure trove of amazing works of art, some internationally known. This amazing house is surrounded by beautiful gardens that are also well worth exploring.
In the Maritime Museum, you can learn about the area’s port history, shipbuilding past and fishing history. There are also special activity sheets for children to complete as they pass through the museum.
